He has appeared in over 100 Nollywood movies as an actor which includes movies like Last Flight to Abuja, Banana Island Ghost , Nasibi Sitanda Blood and Henna , Confusion Na Wa Ojukokoro Mansoor Dear Affy Madubin Dubawa Matan Gida etc. Nuhu is also an investor in public and private business entities like Omo, Samsung, Globacon etc. In 2018 ISM Adonai American University, Benin Republic awarded him an honorary doctorate.
